I then headed further west, graduating with a Bachelor's degree from Pomona College. In 2011, I moved to South Africa where I studied at the University of Cape Town, and I also worked for the Parliament of South Africa. I joined the Thacher School (Ojai, CA) three years ago, where I teach European and African history, government and political philosophy. I also contribute in the Admission office; I am the faculty liaison for the Black Student Union, advise and live with sophomore boys, and coach varsity basketball\/track.","link":"http:\/\/africanworldhistory.org\/author\/okpalugo\/","slug":"okpalugo","avatar_urls":{"24":"http:\/\/africanworldhistory.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/avatars\/24\/f15c84070977be55d85e4ef05668b48d-bpthumb.png","48":"http:\/\/africanworldhistory.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/avatars\/24\/f15c84070977be55d85e4ef05668b48d-bpthumb.png","96":"http:\/\/africanworldhistory.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/avatars\/24\/f15c84070977be55d85e4ef05668b48d-bpfull.png"},"meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/africanworldhistory.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/24"}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/africanworldhistory.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users"}]}}
