PBworks will be used as a way to build classroom resources for the teachers. Unlike many online tools that are blocked by firewalls in schools, PBworks is a teacher and education friendly wiki that allows teachers to easily create resources and privately share with their students. The PBworks website will be made public on the PBworks webpage (http://www.pbworks.com) after the Institute so that other educators can benefit from and expand upon it. Utilizing the web resources budget, we will add social networking features—the ability to post status updates, blog about resources and presentations, message fellow members, create groups, participate in forums, create and manage citations, etc.—to our existing website so that the experts can more readily and efficiently work together to build classroom resources for the teachers. We will create short 10-minute videos with each expert that covers key points and concepts from their presentations, and help the teachers create podcasts and do interviews with the instructors. We are confident that this out-of-classroom interaction with the experts will be invaluable for the teachers. Once completed, the media materials will be posted on the website for use by other educators.

The PBworks page for our group can be found at
